ImageWords founder Ruth Furman is 2022 Silver State Awards finalist

Ruth Furman, a longtime Las Vegas public relations professional whose ImageWords firm recently celebrated its 21st year in business, is a finalist for a 2022 Silver State Award.

Award winners will be named in a ceremony at 7 p.m. April 8 at Resorts World Las Vegas 3000 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The TMG Entertainment Network is producing the honors program, which will recognize achievements by individuals and companies in six categories: Women, Best of the Best, Culinary, Entertainment, Journalism and Sports.

The awards function as people’s choice awards; voting ran online.

The Women’s category includes 22 categories. Furman is among six candidates for the Best Motivational Speaker, Women honor.  

In a recent interview on the “Entrepreneur Showcase” video podcast, Furman said she succeeds by assessing what clients need and tailoring her approach accordingly. She said her goal, always, is giving clients the tools they need to get their stories told in the best possible light.

“I like to make noise when everyone else is quiet; that’s how I get attention for my clients,” she said on the podcast. “That’s also how I build brands.”
