Long-time Las Vegas publicist and marketing professional among 18 dynamic women spotlighted

Sunny 106.5 and iHeartMedia Las Vegas honored Ruth Furman, principal of Las Vegas-based ImageWords Communications with its “Women Who Shine”  spotlight. 

Furman is among 18 dynamic Las Vegas-based professional businesswomen being honored during Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. “Women Who Shine” recognizes Las Vegas women who are leaders in their field and in the community. 

Furman started ImageWords after working in corporate communications and journalism. 

She prides herself in having a journalist’s curiosity and the enthusiasm and strategic thinking of a marketing consultant. She helps clients earn high-profile media placements on television and in radio and podcasts as well as in local, regional and national publications. She has worked with a wide range of industries and generously gives her services to support nonprofits as well. 

“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many powerful women,” Furman said. “I’ve never seen my work as a job. It’s all about making media magic happen, and my inspiration comes from connecting with so many strong businessmen and women every day. To be seen as a leader in my field is very humbling, to say the least.”
